Iaito
Our Iaito are made in Japan.The manufacturer was chosen by Tokuzo.
-The mekugi "nihon-mekugi (2 mekugi) is more strong, the weapon does not tremble (The Tsuka is well adjusted). mekugi the wood of bamboo, the bamboo was dried over year to be strong.
-The "saya" is made of wood (tree of "HO") that does not deform and remains lightweight and strong. "Same" is shark skin.

To maintain the iaito, do ever Uchiko "(powdered Katana) if the blade is engulfed ....( Uchiko powder polishes. Getting swords are fine.)
The Iaito not rust, the blade is stainless. But that abyss with moisture.
For maintenance use only a dry cloth.
After training, each time you clean. It is very import! If moisture remains on the blade, the metal sinks.
And occasionally (1 time per month), you put the oil on the blade and habaki, and dry well.
(You can use vegetable oil for cooking.)
